Anfang Juni 1991 gründeten Anke und Martin Wendl im Herzen der thüringischen Residenzstadt Rudolstadt das Kunst-Auktionshaus Wendl, das sich schnell vom Geheimtipp zu einem erfolgreichen, international bekannten Unternehmen entwickelte. Mehr als 4.000 Kunstwerke und Antiquitäten können in den Räumen der historischen Villa bestaunt und die knisternde Atmosphäre einer Auktion miterlebt werden. Jährlich finden drei Auktionen statt, bei denen man einzigartige Exponate nicht nur bestaunen, sondern sogar ersteigern kann. Durch kontinuierliche Werbung in Medien aller Art und dank des intensiv genutzten Internet-Auftritts kann sich das Auktionshaus heute über einen Stamm von mehr als 10.000 Kunden freuen.
At the beginning of June 1991, Anke and Martin Wendl founded the Wendl Art Auction House in the heart of the Thuringian residential town of Rudolstadt, which quickly developed from an insider tip to a successful, internationally renowned company. More than 4,000 works of art and antiques can be admired in the rooms of the historic villa and the sizzling atmosphere of an auction can be experienced. Three auctions are held annually, at which unique exhibits can not only be marvelled at, but even bought at auction. Through continuous advertising in all kinds of media and thanks to the intensively used Internet presence, the auction house can now look forward to a base of more than 10,000 customers.
