About: Nohra

Nohra est une commune située à l'ouest du district de Weimarer Land et fait partie de la commune administrative de Grammetal. La localité revêtait déjà une importance particulière au Moyen Âge, car elle se trouvait sur la route très fréquentée reliant Weimar à Erfurt. Le nom de "Nore" provient manifestement d'une ancienne désignation du ruisseau Norbach, de sorte que Nor- Fels et aha (ruisseau), une colonie au bord du ruisseau Felsbach, sont dérivés. Nohra se situe à environ 315 m d'altitude et a une superficie d'environ 20 km². Le village s'étend sur environ 28 ha, la zone industrielle sur environ 20 ha, la zone industrielle de l'ONU sur 180 ha et le parc paysager sur environ 160 ha. Nohra compte près de 400 habitants.

Nohra is a municipality in the west of the district of Weimarer Land and part of the administrative municipality of Grammetal. The village was already of particular importance in the Middle Ages, as it was located on the busy road between Weimar and Erfurt. The name "Nore" apparently goes back to an old name for the Norbach stream, so that a settlement on a rocky stream is derived from Nor- Fels and aha (stream). Nohra lies about 315m above sea level and has an area of approx. 20 km². The village area is approx. 28 ha, the industrial estate approx. 20 ha, the UNO industrial estate 180 ha and the landscape park approx. 160 ha. Nohra has just under 400 inhabitants.

Nohra ist eine Gemeinde im Westen des Landkreises Weimarer Land und Teil der Verwaltungsgemeinde Grammetal. Der Ort war bereits im Mittelalter von besonderer Bedeutung, da er an der vielbegangenen Straße zwischen Weimar und Erfurt lag. Der Name „ Nore“ geht offensichtlich auf eine alte Bezeichnung des Norbaches zurück, so dass von Nor- Fels und aha (Bach), eine Siedlung am Felsbach abgeleitet wird. Nohra liegt etwa 315m ü. NN und hat eine Fläche von ca. 20 km². Die Ortslage beträgt ca. 28 ha, das Gewerbegebiet ca. 20 ha, das UNO-Gewerbegebiet 180 ha und der Landschaftspark etwa 160 ha. Nohra hat knapp 400 Einwohner.
