Located right in the heart of Schwerstedt, St. Trinitatis Church is well worth a visit. With its mansard roof and striking east tower, the church dominates the village landscape and is a lovely destination for anyone exploring the Weimarer Land region. The Laura Bike Trail runs through the village, connecting the Ilmtal Bike Trail with the Unstrut Bike Trail along the route of the former Weimar–Großrudestedt narrow-gauge railway. W kolejnych latach udało się go odrestaurować i do dziś stanowi on centrum życia kościelnego w miejscowości.
