<p>Das Weihnachtslied „O Du fröhliche…“ ist jedem Kind bekannt. Die Geschichte dahinter nur den wenigsten: Sie erzählt von Krieg, Sorgen und Leid aber auch von Hoffnung, Mut und Zuversicht. Den Text dazu schrieb Johannes Daniel Falk vor rund 200 Jahren – zu dieser Zeit wurde das beschauliche Weimar von französischen Soldaten belagert. Zur Einwohnerzahl von 6.000 kam rund das Zehnfache an Soldaten dazu. Falk kümmerte sich um die Versorgung und Verpflegung dieser.
