Les amateurs de natation peuvent s'entraîner sur quatre couloirs de 25 m pour les sports de compétition. Le toboggan large très apprécié se termine dans la zone non-nageurs du bassin polyvalent ; une gargouille, des buses de massage sous l'eau et des plaques à bulles sont d'autres éléments de plaisir. Les plus petits peuvent s'amuser dans la pataugeoire. Pour faire du sport, il y a un minigolf, un terrain de beach-volley et des tables de ping-pong. Baden und Schwimmen am Ilmtal-Radweg Das Freibad Bad Sulza liegt unterhalb der Sonnenburg, direkt am Wohnmobilstellplatz und dem Gradierwerk “Louise” idyllisch am Ilmtal-Radweg. Freuen Sie sich auf ein kombiniertes Mehrzweckbecken von 25 m x 50 m und eine separate Sprunggrube von 15 m x 15 m. Eine Ein- und Drei-Meter-Sprunganlage findet man in einem separaten Sprungbereich. Schwimmsportbegeisterte können auf vier 25-m-Bahnen für den Wettkampfsport trainieren. Im Nichtschwimmerbereich des Mehrzweckbeckens endet die beliebte Breitrutsche; ein Wasserspeier, Unterwassermassagedüsen und Luftsprudelplatten sind weitere Spaßelemente. Die Kleinsten können sich im Planschbecken vergnügen. Sportlich betätigen können Sie sich auf der Minigolfanlage, dem Beachvolleyballplatz und an den Tischtennisplatten. Natürlich wartet auch ein Spielplatz und Sandkisten auf alle Kinder. Die gesamte Anlage ist behindertengerecht ausgestattet und der vorhandene Imbiss sorgt für Ihr leibliches Wohl. Das Freibad ist in der Sommersaison vom 01. Mai bis zum 15. September geöffnet.
