Der NABU Landesverband Thüringen e.V. wurde im März 1990 gegründet. Inzwischen sind in ihm über 17.000 Mitglieder in 20 Kreis- bzw. Regionalverbänden und 31 Ortsgruppen aktiv. NABU-Mitglieder setzen sich damit in fast allen Teilen Thüringens für den Natur- und Umweltschutz ein. Die Geschäftsstelle des Landesverbandes befindet sich im Jenaer Ortsteil Leutra am Fuße des Naturschutzgebietes „Leutratal-Cospoth“. Im Auftrag des Landesvorstandes koordinieren die MitarbeiterInnen der Landesgeschäftsstelle die Arbeit des Landesverbandes und stehen den NABU-Gruppen als Dienstleister zur Verfügung. Auch für interessierte Bürgerinnen und Bürger sowie für Behörden und Medien sind die MitarbeiterInnen der Landesgeschäftsstelle Ansprechpartner.
La NABU Landesverband Thüringen e.V. a été fondée en mars 1990. Elle compte aujourd'hui plus de 17.000 membres répartis dans 20 associations régionales et 31 groupes locaux. Les membres de la NABU s'engagent ainsi pour la protection de la nature et de l'environnement dans presque toutes les régions de Thuringe. Le bureau de la fédération régionale se trouve dans le quartier de Leutra à Iéna, au pied de la réserve naturelle "Leutratal-Cospoth". Sur ordre du comité directeur du land, les collaborateurs du bureau du land coordonnent le travail de la fédération du land et sont à la disposition des groupes NABU en tant que prestataires de services. Les collaborateurs du bureau national sont également des interlocuteurs pour les citoyens intéressés ainsi que pour les autorités et les médias.
NABU Landesverband Thüringen e.V. was founded in March 1990. It now has over 17,000 active members in 20 district and regional associations and 31 local groups. NABU members are committed to nature conservation and environmental protection in almost all parts of Thuringia. The state association's office is located in the Leutra district of Jena at the foot of the "Leutratal-Cospoth" nature reserve. On behalf of the state executive board, the employees of the state office coordinate the work of the state association and are available to the NABU groups as service providers. The staff at the regional office are also the point of contact for interested members of the public, authorities and the media.
