Hier beginnt der Planetenwanderweg (grüner Diagonalbalken), dem man über den Lerchenberg und vorbei am Doggenteich bis nach Merkendorf folgt. Ohne Wandermarkierung führt die Nebenstraße über Piesignitz nach Wöhlsdorf und Wiebelsdorf. Weiter geht es nach Tischendorf (gelber Balken) und an Braunsdorf vorbei, über die Bundesstraße 2 und zu den Quellteichen der Orla. Danach erreicht man durch ein Waldgebiet den Windrad-Park auf der Hoschkau und kurz danach den Ort Gütterlitz. Weiter führt der Wanderwg nach Untendorf (gelber Punkt) und durch den Aumaer Forst zum Kesselsee. Kurz darauf biegt man am Pfarteich links ab und gelangt wieder auf den Markt von Auma.
