Dieser ist mit 473 Metern der höchste Berg des Kyffhäuser-Gebirges und durch den Fernsehturm, der 92 Meter in die Höhe ragt, von weitem sichtbar. Der Kyffhäuserweg führt Sie nun weiter zur Rothenburgruine. An der Wanderhütte nahe der Ruine beginnt der 2 km lange Waldpfad, welcher Sie durch idyllische Wälder entlang der steilen Gebirgskante führt. Entdecken Sie hier Reh-Spuren oder nehmen Sie auf einer Holzliege die Perspektive eines Käfers ein. Vom GeoPark Kyffhäuser e.V. als GeoTope ausgezeichnete Steinbrüche in der Nähe des Waldpfades ermöglichen beeindruckende Einblicke in die Erdgeschichte. Auf dem Rundweg zum Kyffhäuser-Denkmal lädt ein riesiges Tor zum Besuch der romantischen Ruinenkulisse der Unterburg ein. An der Spitze des Berges erreichen Sie schließlich das Kyffhäuser-Denkmal. Genießen Sie von hier aus den einzigartigen Rundblick über das Walddach des Kyffhäuser-Gebirges in die Goldene Aue bis zum Harz.
