Vom Wanderparkplatz aus folgt man dem Weg in nördlicher Richtung an der Schranke vorbei hinein in den Wald. Auf dem Weg kommt man am Storzel, einer markanten Weggabelung vorbei, wo der Rundwanderweg halb links weiterführt. Bald darauf kreuzt die SaaleHorizontale den Weg, welcher nun linksabbiegend gefolgt wird. Über Kahles Höhe schlängelt sich der Wanderweg bergab entlang bis ins Schaftal. An diesem Punkt verlässt der Rundwanderweg rechts abbiegend die SaaleHorizontale und steigt bergan. Die breite Fahrstraße verlassend führt der Weg bald links in den dichteren Wald hinein. Weiter folgend kommen Sie vom Bismarckturm zur Sternlinde. Von dort aus schlängelt sich der Weg weiter vorbei am Langethal-Denkmal bis kurz vor den Forstturm und dem Forsthaus. Hier besteht die Möglichkeit zur Einkehr. Unterhalb des Forsthauses verläuft der Rundweg 3 weiter parallel zum Rundweg 2 sowie WaldPfad "Schlauer Ux" bis zum Naturerlebniszentrum forum natura auf dem Schottplatz. An der Gabelung geradeaus und dann rechts führt der Wanderweg zurück zum Parkplatz linker Hand.

Depuis le parking de randonnée, on suit le chemin vers le nord, en passant par la barrière, dans la forêt. Sur le chemin, on passe par le Storzel, une fourche marquante où le circuit fait un demi-tour à gauche. Peu après, on croise la SaaleHorizontale, que l'on suit en tournant à gauche. Par Kahles Höhe, le sentier serpente en descente jusqu'au Schaftal. À ce point, le circuit quitte la SaaleHorizontale en tournant à droite et monte. Quitter la large route et s'engager rapidement à gauche dans une forêt plus dense. En suivant le chemin, vous passez de la tour Bismarckturm au tilleul étoile. De là, le sentier continue en passant par le monument Langethal jusqu'aux abords de la tour forestière et de la maison forestière où une pause est possible. Sous la maison forestière, le circuit 3 continue parallèlement au circuit 2 ainsi qu'au WaldPfad "Schlauer Ux" jusqu'au centre d'expérience nature forum natura à Schottplatz. À la bifurcation, aller tout droit puis à droite pour revenir au parking sur la gauche.

From the hiking car park, follow the path northward passing the barrier into the forest. On the way you pass Storzel, a distinctive fork in the path where the circular hiking trail continues half-left. Shortly afterwards the SaaleHorizontale crosses the path, which is now followed by turning left. Over Kahles Höhe the hiking trail winds downhill along until it reaches the Schaftal. At this point, the circular hiking trail leaves the SaaleHorizontale turning right and climbs uphill. Leaving the wide road, the path soon leads left into the denser forest. Continuing you come from the Bismarckturm to the Sternlinde. From there the path winds further past the Langethal memorial until shortly before the forester’s tower and the forester’s lodge. There is an option for refreshment here. Below the forester’s lodge, circular trail 3 continues parallel to circular trail 2 as well as the forest path "Schlauer Ux" to the nature experience center forum natura at Schottplatz. At the fork go straight and then right, the hiking trail leads back to the car park on the left side.

Vom Wanderparkplatz aus folgt man dem Weg in nördlicher Richtung an der Schranke vorbei hinein in den Wald. Parallel zum Rundwanderweg verlaufen zu Beginn ebenfalls der kürzere Rundwanderweg 2 sowie der rote Wanderweg. Auf dem Weg kommt man am Storzel, einer markanten Weggabelung vorbei, wo der Rundwanderweg halb links weiterführt. Bald darauf kreuzt die SaaleHorizontale den Weg, welcher nun linksabbiegend gefolgt wird. Über den Paulsberg vorbei am Aussichtspunkt Kahles Höhe mit Blick auf die gegenüber liegenden Höhenzüge von Münchenroda schlängelt sich der Wanderweg bergab entlang der Wachteldelle bis ins Schaftal. An diesem Punkt verlässt der Rundwanderweg rechts abbiegend die SaaleHorizontale und steigt bergan. Die breite Fahrstraße verlassend führt der Weg bald links in den dichteren Wald hinein. Weiter folgend kommen Sie vom historischen Bismarckturm zur Sternlinde. Von dort aus schlängelt sich der Weg weiter durch den Wald, vorbei am Langethal-Denkmal bis kurz vor den Forstturm und dem Forsthaus. Unterhalb des Forsthauses verläuft der Rundweg 3 weiter parallel zum Rundweg 2 sowie WaldPfad "Schlauer Ux". Es geht vorbei an verschiedenen Erlebnisstationen bis zum Naturerlebniszentrum forum natura auf dem Schottplatz. An der Gabelung geradeaus und dann rechts führt der Wanderweg zurück zum Parkplatz linker Hand.

Sous la maison forestière, le circuit 3 continue parallèlement au circuit 2 ainsi qu’au WaldPfad "Schlauer Ux". Vous passez diverses stations d'expérience jusqu'au centre d'expérience nature forum natura sur le Schottplatz. À la bifurcation, continuez tout droit puis tournez à droite pour revenir au parking sur la gauche.

From the hiking car park, follow the path northward passing the barrier into the forest. At the beginning the shorter circular hiking trail 2 as well as the red hiking trail also run parallel to the circular hiking trail.
