Die Tour welche an der Südkante des Kyffhäusergebirges verläuft, schlängelt sich idyllisch entlang der kleinen Wipper und und direkt am Fuße des Südwest-Kyffhäusers bis zur Barbarossahöhle. Neben tolle Blicken kann man hier auch die besonderen Magerrasenflächen sehen, welche typisch für diesen Teil des Kyffhäusers sind.  Am Ende der Tour, an der Barbarossahöhle, besteht die Möglichkeit den Rufbus zurück nach Bad Frankenhausen zu nehmen oder die Linie 451.

Le parcours qui longe le bord sud du massif du Kyffhäuser serpente de façon idyllique le long de la petite Wipper et directement au pied du Kyffhäuser sud-ouest jusqu'à la grotte de Barbarossa. Outre de belles vues, on peut également y observer les pelouses sèches particulières typiques de cette partie du Kyffhäuser. À la fin du parcours, à la grotte de Barbarossa, il est possible de prendre le bus à la demande (Rufbus) pour retourner à Bad Frankenhausen ou la ligne 451.

The route, which runs along the south edge of the Kyffhäuser mountains, winds idyllically along the Kleine Wipper and directly at the foot of the southwest Kyffhäuser to the Barbarossa Cave. Besides great views, you can also see the special dry grassland areas that are typical for this part of the Kyffhäuser.  At the end of the route, at the Barbarossa Cave, there is the possibility to take the on-call bus back to Bad Frankenhausen or the line 451.

Wir wandern vorbei am Stadion mit Kegelbahn und der Gelben Brücke. Im weiteren führt der Weg ein Stück auf dem Radweg und quert die Straße zur Kießgrube. Ab hier läuft der Weg auf einem Feldweg entlang der Wipper bis zur Rottleber Dreiangel. Hier überqueren wir die Staße nach Rottleben  und wenden uns sofort nach Nordwesten immer entlang des Barbarossaweges. So erreichen wir die alte Nordhäuserstraße. Diese besteht aus uralten Kopfsteinen. Diese Straße wird von uralten Obstbäumen insbesondere Kirschen gesäumt. Am Ende der Straße befindet sich die Barbarossahöhle und die Reste der Falkenburg.</p>

Ab hier läuft der Weg auf einem Feldweg entlang der Wipper bis zur Rottleber Dreiangel. Hier überqueren wir die Staße nach Rottleben  und wenden uns sofort nach Nordwesten immer entlang des Barbarossaweges. So erreichen wir die alte Nordhäuserstraße. Diese besteht aus uralten Kopfsteinen. Diese Straße wird von uralten Obstbäumen insbesondere Kirschen gesäumt. Am Ende der Straße befindet sich die Barbarossahöhle und die Reste der Falkenburg.
