Ce qui rend l'église du monastère de Thalbürgel si particulière :
Elle a vieilli en beauté : l'église du monastère compte parmi les
églises romanes les plus importantes de Thuringe. Le monastère bénédictin auquel elle appartenait autrefois a été fondé dès 1133.
Remarque le
portail artistique avec ses quatre arcs décalés et ses quatre colonnes de chaque côté. Le chœur en gradins est également encore visible aujourd’hui sous forme de fondations.
La musique est au rendez-vous dans l’église : lors de l’événement annuel
« Concerts d’été » , l’église du monastère se transforme en un cadre à l’atmosphère particulière. Sur demande, tu peux également visiter l’église en dehors des heures d’ouverture habituelles et pendant les mois d’hiver, de novembre à mars.
