Langula est un quartier de la commune rurale de Vogtei dans le district d'Unstrut-Hainich en Thuringe. Historiquement et culturellement, le village est étroitement lié à Oberdorla et Niederdorla. L' église néo-gothique St. Georg, datant du milieu du 19ème siècle, mérite d'être vue dans le village. Déjà avant cela, il y avait une église dans le village, qui était connue pour sa musique d'église depuis la fin de la guerre de Trente Ans. Johann Sebastian Bach a visité le lieu et a échangé des idées avec Adam Jakob Schröter, qui était cantor à Langula au début du 18e siècle. Langula is a district of the rural municipality of Vogtei in the Unstrut-Hainich district in Thuringia. Historically and culturally, the village is closely linked with Oberdorla and Niederdorla. Worth seeing in the village is the neo-Gothic church St. Georg from the middle of the 19th century. Already before that there was a church in the village, which was known for its church music since the end of the Thirty Years' War. Johann Sebastian Bach visited the place and exchanged ideas with Adam Jakob Schröter, who was cantor in Langula at the beginning of the 18th century. With its location Langula is a good starting point for excursions into the countryside and for day trips into the surrounding countryside. To the dam Seebach it is about 5km, to the castle ruin Haineck it is about 8km and to the national park centre Hainich about 16km. Hiking trails lead to the Lehdeborn, a captured spring at the western edge of the Hainich, and to the sinkhole springs Kainspring and Melchiorbrunnen near Oberdorla. A section of the 113km long Unstrut-Werra cycle path runs along the former railway line of the Vogteier Bimmel from Mühlhausen to Treffurt.

Johann Sebastian Bach besuchte den Ort und tauschte sich mit Adam Jakob Schröter, der zu Beginn des 18. Jahrhunderts Kantor in Langula war, aus. Mit seiner Ortslage ist Langula ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in das Gebiet der Landgemeinde und für Tagestouren ins Umland. Zur Talsperre Seebach sind es ca. 5 km, zur Burgruine Haineck sind es ca. 8 km und zum Nationalparkzentrum Hainich ca. 16 km. Wanderwege führen zum Lehdeborn, einer gefassten Quelle am Westrand des Hainich, und zu den Erdfallquellen Kainspring und Melchiorbrunnen bei Oberdorla. Auf der ehemalige Bahntrasse der Vogteier Bimmel von Mühlhausen nach Treffurt verläuft ein Abschnitt des 113 km langen Unstrut-Werra-Radweges.
