Neben Schloss Neuscharfenberg prägt die St. Cosmas und Damian Kirche das Ortsbild seit Jahrhunderten. Eine der wohl größten Orgeln in einer Dorfkirche ist hier ein wenig bekannter Schatz. Stolz im Ort sind die Einwohner auf ihre Kinder-Arche, Grundschule „Nessetal“ und das Kultur-und Tagungszentrum „Tannhäuser“. Weithin sichtbar sind im oberen Ortsteil ein Golfplatz mit 18-Lochanlage und der Sportplatz mit seinen verschiedenen Sportgruppen. Der bei Radfahrern beliebte Nessetal-Radweg führt durch den Ort. Vereine organisieren u.a. Feste wie Maiblütenfest, Kirmes, Osterfeuer, Martinsfest und Nikolaus für die Jüngsten. Ebenfalls aktiv sind der Männergesangsverein 1880 und der Frauenchor mit ihren Darbietungen bei verschiedenen Auftritten.

Next to Neuscharfenberg Castle, the St. Cosmas and Damian Church has characterized the village for centuries. One of the probably largest organs in a village church is a little-known treasure here. The inhabitants of the village are proud of their children's ark, elementary school "Nessetal" and the cultural and conference center "Tannhäuser". Visible from afar in the upper part of the village are a golf course with an 18-hole facility and the sports field with its various sports groups. The Nessetal cycle path, which is popular with cyclists, leads through the village. Associations organize festivities such as the May blossom festival, the fun fair, the Easter fire, St. Martin's Day and St. Nicholas for the youngest. Also active are the men's singing club 1880 and the women's choir with their performances at various events.

Outre le château de Neuscharfenberg, l'église Saint-Cosmas et Saint-Damien marque l'image du village depuis des siècles. L'un des plus grands orgues d'une église de village est ici un trésor peu connu. Les habitants sont fiers de l'Arche des enfants, de l'école primaire "Nessetal" et du centre culturel et de congrès "Tannhäuser". Dans la partie supérieure du village, un terrain de golf de 18 trous et le terrain de sport avec ses différents groupes sportifs sont visibles de loin. La piste cyclable de la vallée de la Nesse, très appréciée des cyclistes, traverse la localité. Des associations organisent entre autres des fêtes telles que la fête des fleurs de mai, la kermesse, le feu de Pâques, la fête de la Saint-Martin et la Saint-Nicolas pour les plus jeunes. L'association de chant masculin 1880 et la chorale féminine sont également actives avec leurs représentations lors de divers spectacles.
