The largest building next to the former manor house is the village church in Lichstedt. The church tower with battlements and high spire, comparable to the church in Schaala, indicates that it was once a fortified church. The fortified church fell into disrepair in 1863 and was rebuilt in 1867. It still looks fortified today.
Das größte Bauwerk neben dem ehemaligen Gutsgebäude ist die Dorfkirche in Lichstedt. Der Kirchturm mit Zinnen und hoher Spitze, vergleichbar mit dem Gotteshaus in Schaala, deutet auf eine einstige Wehrkirche hin. Die befestigte Kirche war 1863 baufällig und wurde 1867 neu aufgebaut. Sie stellt sich heute noch als wehrhaft dar.
