Le sentier de randonnée Friedrich-Fröbel fait sans aucun doute partie des sentiers culturellement les plus intéressants et les plus beaux sur le plan paysager de la forêt de Thuringe. Il relie les lieux d'activité du grand pédagogue allemand Friedrich Fröbel à Bad Blankenburg et Keilhau. Le paysage est marqué par les escarpements abrupts des falaises de calcaire coquillier au bord nord de la forêt de Thuringe et offre non seulement une végétation particulière, mais aussi de larges panoramas sur les hauteurs de la forêt de Thuringe et la chaîne schisteuse de Thuringe. L’un de ces points de vue est connu sous le nom de Fröbelblick. C’est ici que Fröbel aurait forgé le terme jardin d'enfants en contemplant le paysage ressemblant à un jardin à ses pieds. En chemin, plusieurs panneaux informent sur la vie et l’œuvre de Friedrich Fröbel. Le chemin depuis la mairie de Bad Blankenburg via Fröbelblick jusqu'à l’école Fröbel Keilhau et retour au Fröbelblick est balisé avec les cadeaux de jeu de Fröbel - boule, cylindre, cube en rouge. Sur la crête du Steiger et du Kesselberg jusqu’à la Kesselwarte, il suit la barre transversale rouge sur fond blanc, et à partir de la Kesselwarte vers le bas le point rouge sur fond blanc jusqu’au centre-ville de Bad Blankenburg. Par la Untere Marktstraße, on rejoint à nouveau la mairie de Bad Blankenburg.

The Friedrich Fröbel hiking trail certainly ranks among the most culturally and historically interesting and scenically beautiful hiking trails of the Thuringian Forest. It connects the places of activity of the great German educator Friedrich Fröbel, Bad Blankenburg and Keilhau. The landscape is characterized by the steep cliffs of the Muschelkalk slopes on the northern edge of the Thuringian Forest and offers not only special vegetation but also wide views to the heights of the Thuringian Forest and into the Thuringian Slate Mountains. One of these viewpoints is known as the Fröbel view. Here Fröbel is said to have coined the term kindergarten, inspired by the garden-like landscape at his feet. Along the way, several panels provide information about the life and work of Friedrich Fröbel. The path from the town hall in Bad Blankenburg via the Fröbel view to the Fröbel school Keilhau and back to the Fröbel view is marked with Fröbel’s play gifts - sphere, cylinder, cube in red. On the ridge of Steiger and Kesselberg to the Kesselwarte it follows the red horizontal bar on white background and from Kesselwarte descending the red dot on white background to the city center of Bad Blankenburg. Via Untere Marktstraße you return to the town hall of Bad Blankenburg.

Der Friedrich-Fröbel-Wanderweg gehört mit Sicherheit zu den kulturgeschichtlich interessantesten und landschaftlich schönsten Wanderwegen des Thüringer Waldes. Er verbindet die Wirkungsstätten des großen deutschen Pädagogen Friedrich Fröbel Bad Blankenburg und Keilhau. Die Landschaft ist durch die steilen Abbrüche der Muschelkalkhänge am Nordrand des Thüringer Waldes geprägt und bietet nicht nur eine besondere Vegetation, sondern auch weite Ausblicke zu den Höhen des Thüringer Waldes und ins Thüringer Schiefergebirge. Einer dieser Aussichtspunkte ist als Fröbelblick bekannt. Hier soll Fröbel angesichts der gartenähnlichen Landschaft zu seinen Füßen den Ausdruck Kindergarten geprägt haben. Unterwegs informieren mehrere Tafeln über das Leben und Schaffen Friedrich Fröbels.  Der Weg vom Rathaus in Bad Blankenburg über den Fröbelblick bis zur Fröbelschule Keilhau  und zurück zum Fröbelblick ist mit den Spielgaben Fröbels -  Kugel, Walze, Würfel in roter Farbe -  markiert. Am Kamm von Steiger und Kesselberg  bis zur Kesselwarte  folgt er dem roten Querstrich auf weißem Grund und ab  Kesselwarte abwärts dem roten Punkt auf weißem Grund bis ins Stadtzentrum Bad Blankenburg. Über die Untere Marktstraße wird wieder das Rathaus von Bad Blankenburg erreicht.

thuecat:directions @fr Depuis la mairie de Bad Blankenburg - où Friedrich Fröbel a fondé le premier jardin d'enfants en 1840 - le chemin passe devant les bâtiments de l'Alliance évangélique et le château de Greifenstein, pour rejoindre la crête du Steiger. Le Steiger fait partie des falaises de calcaire coquillier qui séparent la forêt de Thuringe/la chaîne de montagnes schisteuses de Thuringe du bassin de Thuringe situé au nord. Sur le versant sud escarpé du Kesselberg, le chemin monte lentement et le randonneur peut ici observer des représentants particulièrement attrayants de la végétation typique du calcaire coquillier : daphné laurier, anémone pulsatille, gentiane, différentes espèces d'orchidées, ancolie et chardon argenté. À proximité immédiate du chemin, on trouve aussi des bosquets de ifs, l'arbre le plus ancien d'Europe. Arrivé à la crête, ce n'est pas seulement la vue dégagée sur les montagnes de la chaîne schisteuse de Thuringe et de la forêt de Thuringe qui invite à faire une pause, mais aussi le monument érigé ici, conçu à partir de boule, cylindre et cube, les cadeaux de jeu de Friedrich Fröbel. C'est ici que Fröbel aurait eu l'idée de développer son établissement d'accueil, de jeu et d'activité pour les jeunes enfants, fondé en 1837 à (Bad) Blankenburg, en jardin d'enfants. Le chemin descend maintenant vers Keilhau, un petit village qui fait aujourd'hui partie de la ville de Rudolstadt. En 1817, Fröbel a déplacé ici son "Établissement allemand général d’éducation" fondé en 1816 à Griesheim près d'Arnstadt. C'est ici qu'il a réalisé, avec d'autres pédagogues importants, beaucoup de ses idées sur l'éducation et la formation des enfants et adolescents, et a publié en 1826 son ouvrage pédagogique principal "Die Menschenerziehung". Aujourd'hui, après un passé mouvementé, l'établissement est géré par JugendSozialwerk Nordhausen e.V. en tant qu’"École libre Fröbel Keilhau" privée – un centre de logopédie avec internat pédagogique. Non loin du complexe de l’école de rééducation du langage se trouve le cimetière historique de Keilhau, où l'on peut trouver les tombes des compagnons de Fröbel Barop, Langenthal et Middendorf. Après le retour à l'école, le chemin monte en sentier escarpé vers la colonne de feu Bismarck sur le Kolmberg. Cette colonne, endommagée en 1945, a été financée par les dons de l’association des anciens de Keilhau et construite en seulement 5 mois. Elle a été inaugurée le 30 juillet 1899, à l’occasion du premier anniversaire de la mort de Bismarck. Le chemin longe maintenant une réserve naturelle et remonte vers le Steiger, dont la crête est atteinte au Baropturm. Le Baropturm a été construit en 1878 par d’anciens élèves de l’établissement de Keilhau pour le 50e anniversaire de service du directeur Johann Arnod Barop. À l’école de Keilhau, on peut obtenir la clé de cette tour, et depuis la tour la vue s'étend largement au-dessus des sommets des conifères sur la montagne à tout le land de Thuringe, et par temps très clair jusqu’au Brocken dans le Harz. Le chemin revient maintenant au point de vue Fröbelblick, puis continue le long de la crête du Steiger et du Kesselberg jusqu’à la Kesselwarte, une cabane de protection juste au-dessus de Bad Blankenburg. De là, il descend vers le point de départ à Bad Blankenburg. Sur la crête du Steiger et du Kesselberg jusqu’à la Kesselwarte, il suit la barre transversale rouge sur fond blanc, et à partir de Kesselwarte vers le bas le point rouge sur fond blanc jusqu'au centre-ville de Bad Blankenburg. Par la Untere Marktstraße, on rejoint à nouveau la mairie de Bad Blankenburg.

On the steep south slope of the Kesselberg, the path slowly ascends, and hikers can experience particularly attractive representatives of the typical vegetation of Muschelkalk: Daphne mezereum, pasqueflower, gentian, various orchid species, columbine, and silver thistle. In close proximity to the path, stands of Europe's oldest tree species, the yew, can also be found. Upon reaching the ridge, it is not only the unobstructed view of the mountains of the Thuringian Slate Mountains and Thuringian Forest that invites you to linger but also the monument here, designed from a sphere, cylinder, and cube, the play gifts of Friedrich Fröbel. It is believed that here Fröbel had the idea to further develop his care, play, and activity institution for toddlers, which he founded in 1837 in (Bad) Blankenburg, into the kindergarten. The path then descends to Keilhau, a small place that today belongs to the town of Rudolstadt. In 1817, Fröbel relocated his "General German Educational Institution" founded in 1816 in Griesheim near Arnstadt here. Together with other important educators, he realized many of his ideas about the education and upbringing of children and young people here and published his main pedagogical work "The Education of Man" in 1826. Today, after a varied history, the facility is run by JugendSozialwerk Nordhausen e.V. as a private "Free Fröbel School Keilhau" - a speech therapy center with a special education residential home. Not far from the speech therapy school complex is the historic cemetery of Keilhau, where the graves of Fröbel’s collaborators Barop, Langenthal, and Middendorf can be found. After returning to the school, the path leads as a steep trail to the Bismarck Fire Column on the Kolmberg. This fire column, damaged in 1945, was financed by donations from the Association of former Keilhau residents and erected within just five months. It was inaugurated on July 30, 1899, on the first anniversary of Bismarck’s death. Along a nature reserve, the path now leads back up to the Steiger, whose ridge is reached at the Barop Tower. The Barop Tower was built in 1878 by former students of the Keilhau institution to celebrate the 50th service anniversary of long-time director Johannes Arnod Barop. The key to this tower can be obtained at the school in Keilhau, and from the tower, you have a wide panoramic view over the peaks of the coniferous trees on the mountain across the entire Thuringian land and, in particularly clear weather, as far as the Brocken in the Harz. The path now leads back to the Fröbel view, then continues along the ridge of the Steiger and the Kesselberg to the Kesselwarte, a shelter directly above Bad Blankenburg. From here, it descends back to the starting point in Bad Blankenburg. Hier soll Fröbel die Idee gehabt haben, seine Pflege-, Spiel- und Beschäftigungsanstalt für Kleinkinder, die er 1837 in (Bad) Blankenburg gegründet hatte, zum Kindergarten weiter zu entwickeln. Nach Rückkehr zur Schule führt der Weg als steiler Pfad zur Bismarck-Feuersäule auf dem Kolmberg.  Diese 1945 beschädigte Feuersäule wurde vom Bund ehemaliger Keilhauer durch Spenden finanziert und innerhalb von nur 5 Monaten errichtet. Sie wurde am 30. Juli 1899 zum 1. Todestag von Bismarck eingeweiht.  Entlang eines Naturschutzgebietes führt der Weg nun  wieder hinauf zum Steiger, dessen Kamm am Baropturm erreicht wird. Der Weg führt nun zurück zum Fröbelblick, dann weiter entlang des Kammes des Steigers und des Kesselberges bis zur Kesselwarte, einer Schutzhütte direkt über Bad Blankenburg.  Ab hier geht es abwärts zurück zum Ausgangspunkt nach Bad Blankenburg. Streckenverlauf: Bad Blankenburg Marktplatz - Fröbelmuseum - Allianzhalle - Burgweg (Anstieg) - Wiesenweg nach Kleingölitz - Fröbelblick (Anstieg - Ausblick) -  Keilhau - Baropturm - Fröbelblick - Kammweg bis Kesselwarte - Jugendherberge - Bad Blankenburg  Markierung: Der Weg vom Rathaus in Bad Blankenburg über den Fröbelblick bis zur Fröbelschule Keilhau  und zurück zum Fröbelblick ist mit den Spielgaben Fröbels -  Kugel, Walze, Würfel in roter Farbe - markiert. Am Kamm von Steiger und Kesselberg  bis zur Kesselwarte folgt er dem roten Querstrich auf weißem Grund und ab Kesselwarte abwärts dem roten Punkt auf weißem Grund bis ins Stadtzentrum Bad Blankenburg. Über die Untere Marktstraße wird wieder das Rathaus von Bad Blankenburg erreicht.

In der Schule in Keilhau kann man den Schlüssel für diesen Turm erhalten und vom Turm hat man einen weiten Rundblick über die Gipfel der Nadelbäume auf dem Berg hinweg ins gesamte Thüringer Land und bei besonders klarer Sicht bis hin zum Brocken im Harz.</p> <p>Der Weg führt nun zurück zum Fröbelblick, dann weiter entlang des Kammes des Steigers und des Kesselberges bis zur Kesselwarte, einer Schutzhütte direkt über Bad Blankenburg.  Ab hier geht es abwärts zurück zum Ausgangspunkt nach Bad Blankenburg.</p> <p><strong>Streckenverlauf:</strong><br />Bad Blankenburg Marktplatz - Fröbelmuseum - Allianzhalle - Burgweg (Anstieg) - Wiesenweg nach Kleingölitz - Fröbelblick (Anstieg - Ausblick) -  Keilhau - Baropturm - Fröbelblick - Kammweg bis Kesselwarte - Jugendherberge - Bad Blankenburg </p> <p><strong>Markierung:</strong></p> <p>Der Weg vom Rathaus in Bad Blankenburg über den Fröbelblick bis zur Fröbelschule Keilhau  und zurück zum Fröbelblick ist mit den Spielgaben Fröbels -  Kugel, Walze, Würfel in roter Farbe - markiert. Am Kamm von Steiger und Kesselberg  bis zur Kesselwarte folgt er dem roten Querstrich auf weißem Grund und ab Kesselwarte abwärts dem roten Punkt auf weißem Grund bis ins Stadtzentrum Bad Blankenburg. Über die Untere Marktstraße wird wieder das Rathaus von Bad Blankenburg erreicht.</p>

In close proximity to the path, stands of Europe's oldest tree species, the yew, can also be found.</p> <p>Upon reaching the ridge, it is not only the unobstructed view of the mountains of the Thuringian Slate Mountains and Thuringian Forest that invites you to linger but also the monument here, designed from a sphere, cylinder, and cube, the play gifts of Friedrich Fröbel. It is believed that here Fröbel had the idea to further develop his care, play, and activity institution for toddlers, which he founded in 1837 in (Bad) Blankenburg, into the kindergarten.</p> <p>The path then descends to Keilhau, a small place that today belongs to the town of Rudolstadt. In 1817, Fröbel relocated his "General German Educational Institution" founded in 1816 in Griesheim near Arnstadt here. Together with other important educators, he realized many of his ideas about the education and upbringing of children and young people here and published his main pedagogical work "The Education of Man" in 1826.</p> <p>Today, after a varied history, the facility is run by JugendSozialwerk Nordhausen e.V. as a private "Free Fröbel School Keilhau" - a speech therapy center with a special education residential home. Not far from the speech therapy school complex is the historic cemetery of Keilhau, where the graves of Fröbel’s collaborators Barop, Langenthal, and Middendorf can be found.</p> <p>After returning to the school, the path leads as a steep trail to the Bismarck Fire Column on the Kolmberg. This fire column, damaged in 1945, was financed by donations from the Association of former Keilhau residents and erected within just five months. It was inaugurated on July 30, 1899, on the first anniversary of Bismarck’s death.</p> <p>Along a nature reserve, the path now leads back up to the Steiger, whose ridge is reached at the Barop Tower. The Barop Tower was built in 1878 by former students of the Keilhau institution to celebrate the 50th service anniversary of long-time director Johannes Arnod Barop. The key to this tower can be obtained at the school in Keilhau, and from the tower, you have a wide panoramic view over the peaks of the coniferous trees on the mountain across the entire Thuringian land and, in particularly clear weather, as far as the Brocken in the Harz.</p> <p>The path now leads back to the Fröbel view, then continues along the ridge of the Steiger and the Kesselberg to the Kesselwarte, a shelter directly above Bad Blankenburg. À proximité immédiate du chemin, on trouve aussi des bosquets de ifs, l'arbre le plus ancien d'Europe.</p> <p>Arrivé à la crête, ce n'est pas seulement la vue dégagée sur les montagnes de la chaîne schisteuse de Thuringe et de la forêt de Thuringe qui invite à faire une pause, mais aussi le monument érigé ici, conçu à partir de boule, cylindre et cube, les cadeaux de jeu de Friedrich Fröbel. C'est ici que Fröbel aurait eu l'idée de développer son établissement d'accueil, de jeu et d'activité pour les jeunes enfants, fondé en 1837 à (Bad) Blankenburg, en jardin d'enfants.</p> <p>Le chemin descend maintenant vers Keilhau, un petit village qui fait aujourd'hui partie de la ville de Rudolstadt. En 1817, Fröbel a déplacé ici son "Établissement allemand général d’éducation" fondé en 1816 à Griesheim près d'Arnstadt. C'est ici qu'il a réalisé, avec d'autres pédagogues importants, beaucoup de ses idées sur l'éducation et la formation des enfants et adolescents, et a publié en 1826 son ouvrage pédagogique principal "Die Menschenerziehung".</p> <p>Aujourd'hui, après un passé mouvementé, l'établissement est géré par JugendSozialwerk Nordhausen e.V. en tant qu’"École libre Fröbel Keilhau" privée – un centre de logopédie avec internat pédagogique. Non loin du complexe de l’école de rééducation du langage se trouve le cimetière historique de Keilhau, où l'on peut trouver les tombes des compagnons de Fröbel Barop, Langenthal et Middendorf.</p> <p>Après le retour à l'école, le chemin monte en sentier escarpé vers la colonne de feu Bismarck sur le Kolmberg. Cette colonne, endommagée en 1945, a été financée par les dons de l’association des anciens de Keilhau et construite en seulement 5 mois. Elle a été inaugurée le 30 juillet 1899, à l’occasion du premier anniversaire de la mort de Bismarck.</p> <p>Le chemin longe maintenant une réserve naturelle et remonte vers le Steiger, dont la crête est atteinte au Baropturm. Le Baropturm a été construit en 1878 par d’anciens élèves de l’établissement de Keilhau pour le 50e anniversaire de service du directeur Johann Arnod Barop. À l’école de Keilhau, on peut obtenir la clé de cette tour, et depuis la tour la vue s'étend largement au-dessus des sommets des conifères sur la montagne à tout le land de Thuringe, et par temps très clair jusqu’au Brocken dans le Harz.</p> <p>Le chemin revient maintenant au point de vue Fröbelblick, puis continue le long de la crête du Steiger et du Kesselberg jusqu’à la Kesselwarte, une cabane de protection juste au-dessus de Bad Blankenburg.
