The extra tour The Rasdorfer starts at Anger, Hesse's largest village square. The collegiate church is also located there. The church, built in 1274, immediately catches the eye with its special church tower. The Extratour starts by reaching the Gehilfersberg (456 m) with its chapel and the cemetery forest, in which there are trees up to 250 years old. The path continues past the Bornmühle and the Kirchberg (383 m) to the Rasdorfer Berg (411 m). There is the Point Alpha memorial with its exhibition rooms and large outdoor areas remembering the devided Germany. The hiking trail follows the former border line to the "Weg der Hoffnung" - a sculpture trail. The route then runs past Wiesenfeld and the Dachberg (421 m) back to Rasdorf.
