Zum Hauptweg Loccum-Volkenroda sind im Laufe der Jahre aus regionalen Interessen drei Nebenwege entstanden. Diese Nebenwege bieten zum einen die Möglichkeit, auf einem geschlossenen Rundweg von höchstens vier Tagesetappen auszuprobieren, ob man im Pilgern Sinn und am Wandern Spaß findet.  * Nebenweg I: Neustadt am Rübenberge und Eilvese * Nebenweg II: Hessisch-Oldendorf und Rintel * Nebenweg III: Klosterpfad (Gesamtlänge 79 km) Der Nebenweg III verknüpft mehrere erhaltene und verlassene Klöster miteinander. Der Weg führt Sie von Mühlhausen und dem Kloster Hülfensberg, das seit dem Spätmittelalter ein bedeutender Wallfahrtsort im katholisch geprägten Eichsfeld ist, durch den Naturpark Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal wieder zurück nach Mühlhausen. * Etappe 1: Von Mühlhausen nach Küllstedt * Etappe 2: Von Küllstedt zum Kloster Hülfensberg * Etappe 3: Vom Kloster Hülfensberg zum Kloster Zella * Etappe 4: Vom Kloster Zella nach Mühlhausen (17 km)

Associated with the main path Loccum-Volkenroda, three side routes have developed over the years out of regional interests. Au fil des années, trois chemins secondaires sont nés autour du chemin principal Loccum-Volkenroda répondant à des intérêts régionaux. Die wird überquert, um dem Weg bis zum Ende zu folgen. Dann geht es nach rechts auf dem Arionweg ins Johannistal und schließlich dem Flusslauf nach bis zum <strong>Schützenhaus (3 km)</strong>. Von dort kann man schon das <strong>„Äußere Frauentor“ (Turm der Stadtmauer)</strong> sehen. Unweit davon be- findet sich die <strong>Pilgerstation St. Petri-Kirche</strong> mit einem Schaukasten des Pilgerweges und einer Stempelstation. Damit ist nun auch der Haupt-pilgerweg Loccum-Volkenroda wieder erreicht.</p>
