Der Sieg Napoleons 1806 in der Schlacht bei Jena und Auerstedt ist ein Meilenstein der europäischen Geschichte. Auf dieser Tour gelangen Sie direkt an den Ort des Geschehens. Beginnend an der Haltestelle Zwätzen führt der Weg am Heiligenberg vorbei ins Rautal und weiter Richtung Closewitz. Im Februar und März breiten sich hier die herrlich gelben Blütenteppiche der Winterlinge aus. Durch den Naturkundehain über einen ehemaligen Truppenübungsplatz geht es Richtung Landgraf. Zeit für eine Pause, um den einzigartigen Blick vom „Balkon Jenas“ zu genießen. Ein Abstecher zum Napoleonstein bietet sich an, ehe der Weg am Blinkerdenkmal vorbei in die Sonnenberge führt. Unterwegs verführt der Fernblick übers Stadtzentrum und den Süden Jenas bis zum gegenüber liegenden Bismarckturm immer wieder zu Fotostopps. Schließlich schlängelt sich der Pfad hinab zur Papiermühle.

Napoleon's victory in 1806 at the Battle of Jena and Auerstedt is a milestone in European history. On this route, you reach the exact site of the event. Starting at the Zwätzen stop, the path leads past Heiligenberg into the Rautal and further towards Closewitz. In February and March, the wonderfully yellow carpets of winter aconite bloom here. Through the nature sanctuary over a former military training area, the route continues towards Landgraf. Time for a break to enjoy the unique view from the “Balcony of Jena.” A detour to the Napoleon stone is recommended before the path leads past the Blinker monument into the Sonnenberge. Along the way, the panoramic view over the city center and the south of Jena up to the opposite Bismarck tower invites for photo stops. Finally, the path winds down to the Papiermühle.

La victoire de Napoléon en 1806 à la bataille d'Iéna et d'Auerstedt est une étape importante de l'histoire européenne. Ce circuit vous permet de vous rendre directement sur les lieux de l'événement. En partant de l'arrêt Zwätzen, le chemin passe devant le Heiligenberg dans la vallée du Rautal et continue en direction de Closewitz. Enfin, le sentier descend en serpentant jusqu'au moulin à papier.
