Ne sois pas surpris, il faut remonter un peu les escaliers de la bibliothèque municipale, où Demokratikus attend d'être découvert. En passant devant l'ancien orphelinat, tu continues vers Neuer Weg le long du mur de la ville, jusqu'aux escaliers d'eau. En montant, tu rencontres Ecki et le porteur d'eau. Les escaliers d'eau relient la ville basse et la ville haute. En poursuivant ton chemin, tu passeras devant la cathédrale que tu peux même visiter. En passant par la petite rue Domstraße, tu arrives directement dans la vieille ville historique. Là, de petits cafés et restaurants invitent à la détente. En passant devant la Flohburg, direction la promenade, au pied de la porte des Rossignols est assis le Ziegler, qui a une histoire merveilleuse à raconter. La promenade invite à la détente et les enfants peuvent aussi jouer dans un joli terrain de jeu. Au bout de la promenade, tu rejoins le théâtre de Nordhausen (Dramatikus) et le jardin des partenariats où BoNo a trouvé sa place. Par le chemin direct, tu arrives sur le site de l'exposition horticole (LGS), où tu rencontreras le train des scarabées des escaliers. Non loin de là se trouve Selina-Marie. De là, tu accèdes par le chemin le plus court à l'une des tours les plus marquantes de la silhouette de la ville : la tour Petriturm (Lehi). En traversant le site de l'exposition horticole, tu arrives aux escaliers Rähmentreppe (les jumeaux Henry et Henriette) puis aux escaliers Schlunztreppe (Max le jardinier). En suivant la limite inférieure du site de l'exposition horticole, tu reviens vers les escaliers Petersberg ; en descendant ces derniers, tu arrives à la rue Weberstraße.
