Highlights der Tour: 1 Kirche St. Micheln Die ev. Kirche St. Michael (1128, Weihe 1180) ist spätromanisch und seit 2018 Teil der „Straße der Romanik“. Der Turm (Höhe 25m) mit Walmdach und romanischen Arkadenfenstern bewahrt die älteste Glocke von Mücheln, genannt „Die Demütige“. Landschaftlich reizvoll gelegen, lädt die Quelle mit Kneipp-Pfad zu einem Besuch ein. Einstmals trieb die Geisel auf ihren Lauf bis Merseburg, 17 Wassermühlen an. Heute fließt sie nach 2,5 km in den Geiseltalsee. Von den ehemals 6 Mühlen in Mücheln sind heute noch 5 Mühlengebäude von außen zu besichtigen. Ausgehend von der idyllisch gelegenen Quelle der Geisel findet der Wanderer nach ca.1 km die 12 Apostelquellen. Wasserburg zurück (12. Jh.). Das Anwesen mit gotischen und Renaissance-Elementen wird von einem Graben mit Geiselwasser umflossen. Interessantes Detail: quadratischer Renaissance-Erker auf einer Halbsäule mit Zwiebelhaube. 1921-1925 ließ die Familie von Helldorff das Wasserschloss umbauen und verschönern. Aktuell wird das Gebäude vom neuen Besitzer aufwendig restauriert und z. T. als Wohnhaus mit Mietwohnungen genutzt. Jh.) wurde 1720 von Baron von Breitenbauch angelegt. Terrassenförmiger Aufbau mit Freitreppe als Zugang zu den einzelnen Terrassen und einem klassizistischem Teehaus. 1921-1925 architektonisch und gärtnerisch neu gestaltet, nach dem 2. Weltkrieg lange Zeit vernachlässigt und verfallen. Seit 1993 wird der Barockgarten teil- und schrittweise wiederhergestellt. Das Teehaus (originalgetreuer Wiederaufbau 2016) ist heute Wohnhaus und Vinothek, in der kleinere Veranstaltungen und Ausstellungen stattfinden. Der benachbarte Landschaftspark (um 1720, 10 ha, engl. Rathaus (1571, Spätrenaissance): Besonderheiten sind der mächtige, vorgesetzte Treppenturm mit steinerner Hohlspindeltreppe, ein Halbrunderker an der Ostseite sowie das Schmuckportal mit seinen Steinmetzarbeiten (Zugang zu Hof und den Ratsgarten). Tour highlights: 1 Church of St. Micheln The Protestant Church of St. Michael (1128, consecrated 1180) is late Romanesque and has been part of the "Romanesque Road" since 2018. The tower (height 25m) with a hipped roof and Romanesque arcade windows preserves Mücheln's oldest bell, called "The Humble One." Exterior sights: a four-spoked wheel cross (pre-Christian, east gable of the choir), animal figure (south side of the tower) with the inscription "Das Kirchenhunt" and an incised bishop's consecration cross (east side). Inside (18th century), there is a Renaissance baptismal font (limestone) as well as a baptismal stand with a lectern top (pelican depiction, 18th century). Situated in a scenic location, the spring invites visitors with a Kneipp trail. Once, the Geisel powered 17 water mills along its course to Merseburg. Today, it flows into the Geiseltalsee after 2.5 km. Of the formerly six mills in Mücheln, five mill buildings can still be viewed from the outside. Starting from the idyllic Geisel spring, hikers will find the 12 Apostles springs after about 1 km. The property with Gothic and Renaissance elements is surrounded by a moat with Geisel water. Interesting detail: square Renaissance bay window on a half column with an onion dome. From 1921 to 1925, the von Helldorff family rebuilt and beautified the water castle. Currently, the building is being extensively restored by the new owner and partly used as a residential building with rental apartments. It has a terraced design with an open staircase providing access to the various terraces and a Neoclassical tea house. Redesigned architecturally and horticulturally between 1921 and 1925, it was long neglected and ruined after World War II. Since 1993, the Baroque garden has been restored partially and step by step. The tea house (faithful reconstruction in 2016) is now a residence and wine shop, hosting small events and exhibitions. The adjacent landscape park (around 1720, 10 ha, English style) possesses trees over 250 years old and has been a protected park since 1977. Le domaine, mêlant éléments gothiques et Renaissance, est entouré d’un fossé rempli d'eau de la Geisel. Détail intéressant : oriel Renaissance carré sur une demi-colonne avec coupole en bulbe. Entre 1921 et 1925, la famille von Helldorff a fait rénover et embellir le château d'eau. Angermann, portable : 0176 84601123 8 Jardin baroque | Maison de thé | Parc paysager St. Ulrich Le jardin baroque avec parc paysager adjacent (art des jardins des 18e/19e/20e siècles) a été aménagé en 1720 par le baron von Breitenbauch. Disposition en terrasses avec escalier en pierre menant aux différentes terrasses et une maison de thé néoclassique. Entre 1921 et 1925, il a été réaménagé architecturalement et horticolairement, puis longtemps abandonné et en ruines après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Depuis 1993, le jardin baroque est partiellement et progressivement restauré. La maison de thé (reconstruction fidèle en 2016) est aujourd’hui une maison d’habitation et une vinothèque où se tiennent des petits événements et expositions. Le parc paysager voisin (vers 1720, 10 ha, style anglais) possède des arbres de plus de 250 ans et est un parc protégé depuis 1977. Depuis 2017, le jardin baroque et le parc paysager font partie du réseau « Rêves de jardins – Parcs historiques en Saxe-Anhalt ». Lors de la réaménagement (1996-1999), une ancienne fontaine de marché a été découverte. Une grenouille cracheuse d'eau et d’autres jeux d'eau sont un lieu de rencontre prisé par tous. Diverses inscriptions, plaques à maison et portails des anciennes maisons bourgeoises témoignent d’une histoire mouvementée, incluant guerres, épidémies et incendies. Mairie (1571, fin Renaissance) : Particularités : puissante tour d'escalier avancée avec escalier en colimaçon en pierre creuse, oriel arrondi sur le côté est ainsi que portail ornementé avec ses sculptures de tailleurs de pierre (accès à la cour et au jardin municipal). Les caves profondes de la mairie sont aménagées sur 3 niveaux avec des voûtes en berceau saillantes et servaient autrefois de caves à bière. L’office de tourisme et le musée régional se trouvent à côté de la mairie dans « l’Ancien bureau de poste ». Il y avait 3 portes de ville avec tours de protection et une autre entrée uniquement pour piétons. Rue Scheunengasse, 06249 Mücheln (Geiseltal) 12 Église St. Jakobi L’église paroissiale est située sur le site de l’ancienne forteresse et a reçu son aspect actuel en 1718 (après un incendie de la ville). Des plus anciennes parties, seule la crypte est conservée (plafond voûté attractif). À voir : autel baroque de la chaire et orgue mécanique Papenius (vers 1750), petite Madone - à l’extérieur (14e/15e siècle). Pendant la bataille des Nations à Leipzig, l’église servait d’hôpital militaire (stèle commémorative dans le parc municipal, ancienne aire funéraire). La maison paroissiale et l’ancien diaconat à côté de l’église comptent parmi les plus anciennes maisons de la ville.
