The hike begins at Geiseltalsee and passes through Mücheln with its formerly three districts Mücheln, St. Ulrich, and St. Micheln. The first still existing mill building, the Hohmann Mill, was in operation until 1971. The mill was expanded at the beginning of the last century in a half-timbered style and is a dominant building in the town due to its size. The Geisel marks the course of the hiking trail and leads you to the marketplace with the splendid town hall. At the former manor mill, you can experience creativity today. The renovated mill building is a venue for workshops and family celebrations and is a center for creativity, exchange of ideas, and a meeting place. Along the path, boards provide information about all five mills. Along the way, you pass the former church or Löwe Mill, the Floreis or Apple Mill, and the Spring or Elbert Mill. At the idyllic Geisel spring, you can refresh tired feet by water treading. This is also the endpoint of the hike. Tip: The hike can be varied extensively. Combinations are possible, for example, with the Panorama Trail Mücheln and the Circular Trail Müchelholz. Geiseltalsee is a recreational paradise for cyclists and hikers. Le premier bâtiment de moulin encore conservé, le moulin Hohmann, était en activité jusqu'en 1971. Le moulin a été agrandi au début du siècle dernier dans le style à colombages et est un bâtiment marquant de la ville en raison de sa taille. Le Geisel indique le parcours du sentier de randonnée et vous conduit à la place du marché avec la magnifique mairie. À l'ancien moulin de la ferme, vous vivez aujourd'hui la créativité. Le bâtiment rénové du moulin est un lieu d'événements pour des ateliers et des fêtes de famille, un centre de créativité, d'échange d'idées et un lieu de rencontre. Le long du chemin, des panneaux informent sur les cinq moulins. En chemin, vous passez devant l'ancien moulin de l'église ou Löwemühle, le moulin Floreis ou Apfelmühle et le moulin Spring ou Elbertmühle. À la source idyllique de Geisel, vous pouvez rafraîchir vos pieds fatigués en marchant dans l'eau. Ici se trouve aussi le point final de la randonnée. Die Wanderung beginnt am Geiseltalsee und führt durch Mücheln mit seinen ehemals drei Ortsteilen Mücheln, St. Ulrich und St. Micheln. Das erste noch erhaltene Mühlengebäude, die Hohmannmühle, war bis 1971 in Betrieb. Die Mühle wurde Anfang des letzten Jahrhunderts  im Fachwerkstil aufgestockt und ist aufgrund seiner Größe ein stadtprägendes Gebäude. Die Geisel gibt den Verlauf des Wanderweges vor und leitet Sie zum Marktplatz mit dem prachtvollen Rathaus. An der ehemaligen Gutsmühle erleben Sie heute Kreativität. Das sanierte Mühlengebäude ist Veranstaltungsort für Workshops und Familienfeiern und ist Zentrum für Kreativität, Ideenaustausch und Ort der Begegnung. Entlang des Weges informieren Tafeln über alle fünf Mühlen. Im Verlauf kommen Sie an der ehemaligen Kirch- oder Löwemühle, der Floreis- oder Apfelmühle und der Spring- oder Elbertmühle vorbei. An der idyllischen Geiselquelle können Sie beim Wassertreten die müden Füße erfrischen. Hier ist zugleich der Endpunkt der Wanderung erreicht. Tipp: Die Wanderung kann vielfältig ergänzt werden. Kombinationen sind bspw. mit dem Panoramaweg Mücheln und dem Rundweg Müchelholz möglich. Der Geiseltalsee ist ein Erholungsparadies für Radfahrer und Wanderer. Freunde des Wassersportes, jeglicher Art, kommen hier auf ihre Kosten.
