Die Orlatal-Radrunde startet in Neustadt an der Orla und führt durch eine offen geprägte Kulturlandschaft mit sanften Höhenzügen und kleinen Ortschaften. Vor oder nach der Tour lohnt ein Rundgang durch den historischen Stadtkern mit Sehenswürdigkeiten wie dem Lutherhaus, der Stadtkirche St. Johannis, der Klosterkirche sowie den mittelalterlichen Fleischbänken.  Die Route führt zunächst über Schmieritz und Köthnitz; von hier bietet sich ein Abstecher nach Linda an. Dort kann die Knapp-Mühle besichtigt werden. Anschließend verläuft die Strecke durch ruhigere, naturnahe Abschnitte und erreicht das Naturschutzgebiet Wolche, das mit seinem geschützten Landschaftsraum einen besonderen Kontrast zur offenen Umgebung bildet. Über einen Anstieg gelangt man zum Ziegenberg, von dessen Umfeld sich weite Ausblicke über die Orlasenke eröffnen. Die anschließende Abfahrt führt nach Triptis, wo die Stadtkirche St. Marien, das Stadtmuseum, der Stadtpark sowie ein Abstecher zur Orlaquelle zu einer Pause einladen. Ab Triptis folgt die Tour überwiegend dem Orla-Radwanderweg über Döblitz mit seiner Wehrkirche, Miesitz und Dreitzsch zurück nach Neustadt an der Orla, wo sich der Rundkurs schließt. Auf rund 26 Kilometern verbindet die Tour landschaftlich reizvolle Abschnitte im Orlatal und weist ein abwechslungsreiches Höhenprofil auf. Die Strecke verläuft größtenteils auf ausgewiesenen Radwegen, ergänzt durch verkehrsarme Nebenstraßen und gut ausgebaute Wirtschaftswege. Sie eignet sich für geübte Freizeitradler sowie für E-Bike-Fahrende mit guter Grundkondition. Diese Rundtour ist eine unverbindliche Tourenempfehlung und vor Ort nur teilweise oder nicht ausgeschildert. Für eine sichere Orientierung wird empfohlen, den GPX-Track vorab herunterzuladen und als Navigationshilfe auf dem Smartphone oder Navigationsgerät zu verwenden.

The Orlatal cycling circuit starts in Neustadt an der Orla and leads through an open cultural landscape with gentle hills and small villages. Before or after the tour, a walk through the historic town center with sights such as the Luther House, St. John's Church, the monastery church, and the medieval meat stalls is worthwhile. The route initially passes through Schmieritz and Köthnitz; from here, a detour to Linda is possible. In Linda, the Knapp Mill can be visited. Subsequently, the trail runs through quieter, more natural sections and reaches the Wolche nature reserve, which forms a special contrast to the open surroundings with its protected landscape. A climb leads to the Ziegenberg, from whose surroundings you can enjoy wide views over the Orla valley. The following descent leads to Triptis, where St. Mary's Church, the city museum, the city park, and a stop at the Orla spring invite for a break. From Triptis, the tour mainly follows the Orla cycle path through Döblitz with its fortified church, Miesitz, and Dreitzsch back to Neustadt an der Orla, where the circuit closes. Over approximately 26 kilometers, the tour combines scenic sections in the Orlatal valley and offers a varied elevation profile. The route mostly runs on designated bike paths, supplemented by low-traffic secondary roads and well-developed farm roads. It is suitable for experienced leisure cyclists as well as e-bike riders with good basic fitness. This is a tour recommendation that is not signposted. Please prepare accordingly and download the GPX track to your mobile phone or navigation device in advance.

La boucle cyclable de la vallée d'Orla commence à Neustadt an der Orla et traverse un paysage culturel ouvert avec des collines douces et de petits villages. Avant ou après la tournée, une promenade dans le centre-ville historique avec des curiosités telles que la maison Luther, l'église Saint-Jean, l'église du monastère ainsi que les boucheries médiévales vaut le détour.  L'itinéraire passe d'abord par Schmieritz et Köthnitz ; un détour vers Linda est possible depuis ici. On peut y visiter le moulin Knapp. Ensuite, la route traverse des sections plus calmes et proches de la nature et atteint la réserve naturelle de Wolche, qui offre un contraste particulier avec son espace paysager protégé par rapport à l'environnement ouvert. Une montée mène au Ziegenberg, d'où de larges vues sur la vallée d'Orla s'offrent. La descente qui suit mène à Triptis, où l'église Saint-Marie, le musée de la ville, le parc municipal ainsi qu'un détour vers la source de l'Orla invitent à une pause. Depuis Triptis, la tournée suit majoritairement la piste cyclable Orla via Döblitz avec son église fortifiée, Miesitz et Dreitzsch pour revenir à Neustadt an der Orla où la boucle se termine. Sur environ 26 kilomètres, la tournée combine des sections pittoresques dans la vallée d'Orla et présente un profil d'altitude varié. Le parcours se déroule principalement sur des pistes cyclables désignées, complétées par des routes secondaires à faible trafic et des chemins agricoles bien aménagés. Il convient aux cyclistes de loisir expérimentés ainsi qu'aux utilisateurs de vélos électriques ayant une bonne condition physique. Cette boucle est une recommandation de parcours non contraignante et n'est que partiellement ou pas du tout balisée sur place. Pour une orientation sûre, il est recommandé de télécharger à l'avance la trace GPX et de l'utiliser comme aide à la navigation sur smartphone ou appareil de navigation.
