Der zehn Kilometer lange Zeitz(g)rundweg verbindet als Rundwanderweg verschiedene regionale Erlebnis- und Aussichtspunkte, sowie die vier Mühlen des urwüchsigen Zeitzgrundes zwischen Hermsdorf und Stadtroda. Mit seiner unberührten Flora und Fauna inmitten des eng eingeschnittenen Tals wirkt der Zeitzgrund ein wenig wilder als das nahegelegene Eisenberger Mühltal. Wegen seiner vielen seltenen Moose, Farne und den ursprünglich anmutenden Mischwäldern, Douglasien und Buchen, ist der Zeitzgrund ein ausgewiesenes Landschaftsschutzgebiet. Die Mühlen des Zeitzgrundes lassen sich bis ins 14. Jahrhundert zurückverfolgen und heißen heute, als gemütliche Gaststätten, Pensionen oder Reiterhöfe, Ihre Gäste herzlich willkommen.

Le Zeitz(g)rundweg, long de dix kilomètres, relie en tant que parcours circulaire divers points d'intérêt et panoramas régionaux, ainsi que les quatre moulins du Zeitzgrund d'origine sauvage entre Hermsdorf et Stadtroda. Avec sa flore et sa faune intactes au milieu de la vallée étroite, le Zeitzgrund paraît un peu plus sauvage que la vallée des moulins d'Eisenberg toute proche. En raison de ses nombreuses mousses rares, fougères et forêts mixtes d'aspect primitif, de douglas et de hêtres, le Zeitzgrund est une zone protégée paysagère. Les moulins du Zeitzgrund remontent au XIVe siècle et accueillent aujourd'hui chaleureusement leurs visiteurs en tant que restaurants confortables, pensions ou centres équestres.

The ten-kilometer-long Zeitz(g)rundweg connects various regional adventure and viewing points as a circular hiking trail, as well as the four mills of the primeval Zeitzgrund between Hermsdorf and Stadtroda. With its untouched flora and fauna in the middle of the narrowly cut valley, the Zeitzgrund appears a little wilder than the nearby Eisenberger Mill Valley. Because of its many rare mosses, ferns, and the originally looking mixed forests, Douglas firs, and beeches, the Zeitzgrund is a designated landscape conservation area. The mills of the Zeitzgrund date back to the 14th century and today, as cozy inns, guesthouses, or riding farms, warmly welcome their guests.
