About: Eisenbergweg Chemin Eisenberg Eisenbergweg

Dieser Streckenwanderweg führt vom Saalfelder Bahnhof am ehemaligen Residenzschloss vorbei, über Pfade durch das Siechenbach- und Wittmannsgereuther Tal bis zum Waldhotel Mellestollen. Dort ist eine Einkehr möglich, bis man schließlich über das Fuchsloch und die Gehrensteiner Wasserlöcher zum Gipfelkreuz auf dem Eisenberg gelangt - der höchsten Erhebung von Saalfeld (636 m). Auf dem Rastplatz bietet sich sich eine herrliche Fernsicht auf das nördliche Vorland des Thüringer Waldes. Bergab gelangt man schließlich nach Unterwirbach, dem Ende der Tour.

Ce sentier linéaire part de la gare de Saalfeld, passe devant l'ancien château de résidence, puis emprunte des sentiers à travers les vallées de Siechenbach et Wittmannsgereuther jusqu'à l'hôtel de forêt Mellestollen. Une pause est possible là-bas, puis on poursuit par le Fuchsloch et les ruisseaux de Gehrenstein jusqu'à la croix sommitale sur l'Eisenberg - le point culminant de Saalfeld (636 m). Du refuge, on bénéficie d'une vue magnifique sur le piémont nord de la forêt de Thuringe. En descendant, on arrive finalement à Unterwirbach, la fin de la promenade.

This trail leads from the Saalfeld station past the former Residenzschloss, over paths through the Siechenbach and Wittmannsgereuth valleys to the Waldhotel Mellestollen. There is a possibility to stop there, until finally reaching the summit cross on the Eisenberg via the Fuchsloch and Gehrensteiner water holes - the highest elevation in Saalfeld (636 m). At the rest area, there is a wonderful panoramic view of the northern foreland of the Thuringian Forest. Downhill, you ultimately reach Unterwirbach, the end of the route.
