Ce parcours de randonnée commence à la gare de Saalfeld et traverse le centre historique de Saalfeld jusqu'au monde d'expérience des Grottes des Fées (Erlebniswelt Feengrotten). Une visite guidée à travers les « grottes les plus colorées du monde » vaut vraiment la peine. Le chemin continue au-dessus des prairies acides vers la cabane Mittelweghütte à Eyba. À travers la magnifique vallée de Gissra, on atteint enfin Knobelsdorf via la cabane Baba-Jaga. Là, un petit distributeur automatique propose des boissons et des petites choses de la région. Ensuite, le chemin passe par le Rabenhügel jusqu'au petit village de Laasen. Le dernier segment passe par la Lohmkuppe jusqu'à la Tour Lohm. Ici, vous pouvez profiter d'une vue magnifique sur la région. En descendant, on arrive finalement à Kaulsdorf/Eichicht, d'où l'on dispose d'une bonne connexion de bus et train pour revenir à Saalfeld.

This route trail starts at Saalfeld station and runs through the historic town center of Saalfeld up to the Feengrotten Adventure World. A guided tour through the "most colorful show caves in the world" is worthwhile here. The path then leads above the Sauer Wiesen to the Mittelweg hut at Eyba. Through the beautiful Gissrat valley, you finally reach Knobelsdorf via the Baba-Jaga hut. Here, a small vending machine with drinks and regional snacks awaits. Then it goes over the Rabenhügel to the small village Laasen. The last section leads over the Lohmkuppe to the Lohm tower. Here you can enjoy a wonderful view over the region. Downhill, you finally reach Kaulsdorf/Eichicht, from where you have good bus and train connections back to Saalfeld.

Dieser Streckenwanderweg beginnt am Saalfelder Bahnhof und verläuft durch den historischen Stadtkern von Saalfeld hinauf zur Erlebniswelt Feengrotten. Hier lohnt sich eine Führung durch die "farbenreichsten Schaugrotten der Welt". Weiter führt der Weg oberhalb der Sauren Wiesen zur Mittelweghütte nach Eyba. Durch das herrliche Gissratal gelangt man schließlich über die Baba-Jaga-Hütte nach Knobelsdorf. Hier wartet ein kleiner Versorgungsautomat mit Getränken und Kleinigkeiten aus der Region. Anschließend geht es über den Rabenhügel in den kleinen Ort Laasen. Der letzte Streckenabschnitt führt über die Lohmkuppe zum Lohmturm. Hier kann man einen herrlichen Blick über die Region genießen. Bergab gelangt man schließlich nach Kaulsdorf/Eichicht, von wo aus man eine gute Bus- und Bahnverbindung zurück nach Saalfeld hat.
